Tabitha Metts has been dancing for almost 15 years, with 5 of those being at Island dance and is now a level 8 student there. She has been apart of Whidbey Island Dance Theatre for 4 of those years and is honored to be the current dance captain. She has spent the last two years being a teacher’s assistant for Susan Vanderwood and Megan Moore. She enjoyed learning from those teachers and is so excited to conduct a class of her own. 
  She has danced summer intensives at Ballet Austin (2022) and Boston Ballet (2023). Those experiences were truly inspiring and she enjoyed participating in them. 
  This year she is so happy to be apart of the Island Dance faculty and also to keep training with all of the wonderful teachers there!
