Ballet Victoria

 

Island Dance Studio is pleased to collaborate and share studio space with Ballet Victoria.

This unique partnership allows students to be part of the exciting world of professional dance in a variety of ways. Selected students are often given performance opportunities with the company and younger students enjoy having a glimpse of the dancers in daily rehearsals.

Ballet Victoria first burst onto the Vancouver Island stages in 2002. Under the direction of Paul Destrooper, Artistic Director, the company continues to grow and expand, fulfilling its mandate of making dance accessible to all. Ballet Victoria proudly produces major works and hosts community events, as well as outreach programs, to bring an appreciation of the arts to area classrooms.
